This village of Castagniccia situated between Ponte-Leccia and Piedicroce, is known to be Pascal Paoli's home town. The statue of the hero of the Corsican nation is in the entrance of the village. The native house was transformed into local museum in which one can discover numerous jewels of the Corsican history. So, the Church Santa Reparata in which was baptized Pascal Paoli is in the direction of Rocca's hamlet overhanging the valley.
