From paragliding to canoeing, Corsica provides numerous activities for those who like an active holiday.

You could go around Corsica by bike or on horseback, fly over the magnificent lanscapes paragliding or parachuting, go canoeing, or for the less foolhardy why not hunting or fishing.

Bicycle
Numerous associations propose options for a day or week during the week to visit the island on mountain bike. It is one way of visiting the island and at the same time doing a sports activity.

Horse
Horseback is an ideal way of visiting the Corsican paths. This is a leisure sport which enables you to have an insight into the island. There are 1000 Km of trails which are often former mule tracks. The Castagniccia provides a great choice in these types of excursions, but also lots of other regions such as the Cap Corse and the valley of Ostriconi. Private associations and tourist centres of these types of outing.

Airplane
Enthusiasts could visit the main platforms by air from Bonifacio to fly over the cliffs at Bonifacio and Nonza. This is practised especially in summer along the torrents. Canoe at sea
Canoeing at sea requires some initiation, but also a lot of physical effort as outing are often in groups. The areas of the Cap-Corse and Sartene are generally used. The west side of the Cap-Corse, numerous grottos, which are only accessible by sea, are the best outings.

Hunting
Generally open from the 1st Sunday of the month of September to the 1st Sunday in January, this is very much practised in the island for its sporting activity and the fact that game is plentiful. Most of the villages organise quite regularly wild boar hunting which is very much a tradition in Corsica, and to which tourists can sometimes participate.

Fishing
Most of the mountain rivers have trout and eell. The lakes are also excellent places to fish.
