Overhanging the valley of Rizzanèse, Sainte-Lucie-de-Tallano is a beautiful Corsican village. This village is very famous in the world of the mineralogists, because of its vein of diorite circular, a grey-green stone, rare and popular and having been of use to the construction of the chapel of Médicis in Florence.
A very beautiful sample of this stone is visible at feet of Santa Lucia's war memorial.
