Levie is the capital of Alta Rocca and extends from the valley of Rizzanèse to the Pianu di Livia, to the North, and up to the mountain of Cagna in 1300 m over the high valley of Ortolo, in the South.
The municipality is strong of historic and prehistoric sites what was classified in the world patrimony by UNESCO.
Indeed, the prehistoric sites of Cucuruzzu and Capula are at once near the village and accessible after an excursion of 1.30 h.
An exceptional collection stemming from searched sites is exposed to the local Museum of archaeology and ethnography of Levie, in whom you can also discover the only paleolithic human vestige "The Lady of the Araguina
