This village is hung on the mountain and situated in the middle of prairies in terraces. Itis encircled by the forests of Vizzavona, Sorba and Cetvello. It is especially a good point of departure to make the numerous walks in mountain.
In front of the village, raises a fort in ruin built by French in 1770, overhanging the valley of Vecchio. It is in this fort, that the general Morand whose authorizations were granted by Napoleon himself, that the rebels were held, shot and sometimes deported.
