The excavations dating 1968 brought to light a complex strengthened at the bronze age. The internal space is strikingly fitted out by a tower.
It is doubtless the most interesting prehistoric site of the island with that of Filitosa. The vestiges of this fortress of the bronze age such of big blocks of cliffs were assembled in muretins, have something enigmatic.
