This forest in the South of Corsica, extends from Evisa's heights to Vergio's pass, is 1490 m of height.
It is a beautiful forest populated with pines laricio, with sweet chestnut trees and with beeches.
It is crossed by a forest road built under the second Empire, and is situated just near another forest, the forest of Valdoniello.
It is doubtless one of the most beautiful forests of the island, renowned for its gigantic pines laricio.
Numerous hiking trails invite in beautiful walks, notably up to mountainous summits bordering the 1500 m of height.
